More than 200 professionals from over 90 branches of the express palletised freight transport Network attended the Palibex Convention in Santander. The event was designed to strengthen collaboration between franchisees, share strategies and move forward with future plans in a unique setting.
The main event of the Convention took place on the morning of Saturday, 4 July, at the Santander Exhibition and Conference Centre. There, Palibex highlighted that it is currently experiencing the strongest period in its history, with activity up 20% compared with 2025 and 11 new franchises joining the Network over the past year.
The company also stated that it expects to continue growing at a strong pace thanks to the interconnection of its eight coordination hubs through new routes and frequencies, enabling it to offer even faster and more competitive services.
Throughout the working session, attendees watched a documentary about the company’s journey since its foundation in 2012, attended the presentation of the 2026 Palibex Awards to the year’s top franchisees and enjoyed a surprising performance by Javier Botía, world champion of mentalism.
The Palibex Convention began on the afternoon of Friday, 3 July, and continued until Sunday, 5 July, with a full programme of leisure and sporting activities. These included surfing at El Sardinero beach and a regatta organised in collaboration with the Real Club Marítimo de Santander, involving around one hundred people and fifteen boats.
The organisation of the Palibex Convention in Santander had already been recognised with the OPCE Award, which honours the best congress, meeting or event held in the region for its economic, social and promotional impact. In this case, the jury particularly praised the company’s role in promoting Cantabria as a destination among its franchisees and partners, the quality and variety of the social programme, and the coverage achieved in the media and on social networks.
