Palibex expects the significant development its pallet transport network innovation\u00a0to soon be reflected in the results. “2025 will not be just any year. It will be the year we take a big step forward, proving that Palibex continues to innovate its model<\/a>, listens to the market, and responds to the needs of its customers,” said Managing Director Mar\u00eda Luisa Romero in a press conference.<\/p>\n

As highlighted by the managing director, one key indicator reinforcing the success of the new operational model is the continuous increase in the percentage of goods that bypass Madrid, with the goal of reaching 50% soon.<\/p>\n

The new routes have led Palibex to review the operations at all its coordination centers, equipping them with the necessary resources and carefully planning schedules to maximize operational efficiency.<\/p>\n

\"Pallet<\/p>\n

One of the network\u2019s greatest allies in ensuring its capacity, especially during peak times like Christmas when truck and driver shortages are more pronounced, is the use of Euro-modular vehicles. Palibex has recently incorporated two new duo-trailers between Madrid and Barcelona, enabling them to arrive at their destination by 7:30 AM. These vehicles join those already operating between Valladolid-Madrid and Madrid-Valencia. The network also has a megatrailer operating between Valladolid and Seville and another one in Valencia.<\/p>\n

Palibex\u2019s goal is to create as many direct routes as possible from each coordination center to the rest of the provinces. \u201cThe more we can connect provinces directly, the more competitive we will be, and the more profitable<\/a> our franchisees will be,\u201d said Mar\u00eda Luisa Romero, emphasizing that profitability should not only come from price increases but also from operational improvements. In this regard, Palibex has recently launched a direct route between Valladolid and Valencia, which will allow goods from the northwest of Spain to be delivered to Valencia by 8:30 AM. This new route eliminates an intermediate coordination step, thus reducing transit times.<\/p>\n

\"Pallet<\/p>\n

To further reinforce the efficiency of this new operational model, Palibex has taken several steps, including joining the Lean & Green platform<\/a>, which will reduce its carbon emissions by 20% over five years. This commitment will help better track actions<\/a> and set environmental objectives for the company.<\/p>\n

The network has also made several adjustments to its tariffs to make it easier for clients to identify the different types of pallets, simplify the various zones based on corridors, and scale prices to ensure a fairer service cost. “Now our franchisees can offer operational solutions and provide more competitive rates to their customers within their province, so we are confident about the success of selling our services,” concluded Romero.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
