The Palibex express transport Network is continuously strengthening its prevention, control and protection measures to ensure the safety of its employees, goods and facilities in an increasingly demanding logistics environment.

The company has adopted a strategy based on prevention, continuous training and strict compliance with safety and conduct regulations. “The most important thing is to ensure the safety of everyone who works at Palibex, especially those involved in loading and unloading during night-time operations,” explains Security Director Guillermo Cagigas.

Palibex’s Security Department, registered with Spain’s National Private Security Register, works closely with the State Security Forces and Corps to improve its ability to respond to any incident.

Among its main challenges are preventing workplace accidents, combating theft and fraud, controlling access to sensitive areas and ensuring operational continuity. Palibex therefore considers it essential to combine preventive measures, response protocols and technological tools to strengthen security throughout the logistics chain.

In the current environment, Guillermo Cagigas also highlights the importance of video surveillance and real-time monitoring systems to prevent theft and detect suspicious behaviour. He also emphasises rigorous inventory management, emergency plans and regular drills as key measures for minimising risks and responding effectively to critical situations.

Another priority for Palibex is cybersecurity, given the increasing digitalisation of logistics centres. Protection against digital threats, together with the maintenance of equipment and facilities, forms part of the company’s comprehensive strategy to safeguard security and service continuity.

“Safety is everyone’s responsibility,” says Cagigas, who is promoting training and awareness programmes to encourage safe practices and the involvement of the entire workforce. Palibex therefore stresses that it will continue working actively in this area, as it considers security essential to ensuring service quality, customer confidence and the protection of its operations.
